The Western Michigan Bronco Football team enters their 2nd bowl game in 4 seasons under Head Coach Bill Cubit. In 2007 the Broncos were in Toronto for the inaugural International Bowl against the Cincinnati Bearcats.
This time around the Broncos are in enemy territory taking on the Rice Owls. Rice University is located in Houston and the Texas Bowl has already sold an estimated 50,000 tickets for the bowl.
The game will be aired on the NFL Network across the country but because the NFL Network isn't as widespread as some of the other networks covering bowls FOX 17 in Grand Rapids has picked up coverage of the game.
The 9-3 Western Michigan Broncos take on the 9-3 Rice Owls Tuesday with kickoff set for 8PM.
