After a couple weeks of waiting the Western Michigan Broncos are finally headed to the Texas Bowl in Houston December 30th. The Broncos enter the home territory of their opponent the Rice Owls from Conference USA. The Owls enter the game 9-3 identical to the Broncos record heading into the game.
The Broncos and Owls kickoff at 8PM December 30th. While it is the Broncos 2nd bowl game in 3 seasons there is good and bad to the Texas Bowl's television contract. The NFL Network televises the game, meaning many cable systems do not carry the station.
On the other hand the more NFL exposure, the better for Bronco players looking to be seen by NFL Scouts.
