The Mid-American Conference is sending 5 teams including Western Michigan to bowl games. It is only the 2nd time in MAC history that, that many MAC teams will be bowling. Also grabbing invites were Northern Illinois to the Independance Bowl, Central Michigan to the Motor City Bowl, Ball State to the G-M-A-C Bowl and MAC Champion Buffalo to the International Bowl.
