The Detroit Pistons have agreed to trade Denver native Chauncey Billups and former Nugget Antonio McDyess to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Allen Iverson according to Booth Newspapers A. Sherrod Blakely.
The Pistons have tried for several years to work out a deal for Iverson, reportedly even nearly sending Richard Hamilton to the Philadelphia 76ers before pulling out of the original Iverson deal.
The Pistons will have more to announce this afternoon.
