First it was Daunte Culpepper, than it was Rookie Drew Stanton…neither Quarterback however could jumpstart a stagnant Lions offense in a 38-14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday. Culpepper finished the game 5-for-10 for 104 yards and an interception. Stanton on the other hand was serviceable throwing a TD in the 1st half and leading the Lions to a meaningless 4th Quarter touchdown run by Kevin Smith. At 0-9 the Lions are only 7 more losses from a historical 0-16 season. It’s not a concern for Lions Head Coach Rod Marinelli though…he says they still…aren’t…down…

Calvin Johnson had another solid game with 92 yards on only 2 catches…further proving it doesn’t matter who the Quarterback is…the Lions still favor the 3rd and 4th receiver option over their star player. Up next 0-10 is on the horizon when the Lions travel to 7-2 Carolina Sunday for a 1PM kickoff.
