The White Sox trailed 2-1 before wild pitches and a grand slam by Alexei Ramirez gave the Sox a blowout win. Tigers Manager Jim Leyland was less than impressed…he says the loss sums up the entire season.
Armando Galarraga took the loss for the Tigers while Gavin Floyd grabbed his 17th win of the season for the White Sox. The 138-Million-Dollar Tigers finished a solid 74-88…good for dead last in the AL Central Division.
