as the Detroit Red Wings topped the Anaheim Ducks, 4-1, in Game 5 of a Western
Conference semifinal at Joe Louis Arena. Johan Franzen, Jiri Hudler and

seven series 3-2 and get their first crack to eliminate Anaheim on Tuesday
in Game 6 at Honda Center. Chris Osgood needed just 16 saves for his seventh
win of the 2009 playoffs. Ryan Whitney posted the only goal for the Ducks, who
have dropped two straight games for the first time this postseason. Jonas
