Lions Tap WMU's Blair

It’s no secret that a glaring lack of protection for the quarterback has been a big problem for the Detroit Lions, and the team has turned to a Bronco to plug a hole. The Lions have announced the signing of offensive guard James Blair. Blair helped lead Western Michigan to the International Bowl after the 2006 season – a season that featured two 1000-yard backs for the Broncos. Blair comes to the Lions from the New York Jets.
