
Most Detroit Lions fans wouldn’t wish Rod Marinelli on their worst enemy, but would you wish him on the Chicago Bears? After leading the Lions where no man has ever gone before – the NFL’s first 0-16 season – Marinelli has accepted the position of defensive line coach for the Bears, rejoining his ol’ co-worker from Tampa Bay, Chicago head coach Lovie Smith. Marinelli was D-Line coach for Tampa Bay for a decade, and he was good at it. Y’know, if this whole thing turns out to be a diabolical plan to start winning division titles by planting a mole in the Bears organization, we’re all gonna owe Matt Millen a BIG apology…
