One of the MAC’s postseason bowl games has undergone an upgrade – your G-M-A-C Bowl 2.0 dumps Conference USA and installs the ACC as your opponent in Mobile, Alabama. Over in Baseball the winners included the Pirates, Colorado, postponed was Arizona and Florida, the Brewers doubled up St. Louis, The Dodgers in 11 innings, Toronto beat the White Sox. Winners also included the Yankees, Tampa Bay and the Angels.

The Coca-Cola 600 celebrates 50 years of existence and the site is Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Last weeks race at that track put a million dollars in Tony Stewarts coffers. The Coca-Cola 600 has been won by Jeff Gordon 3 times but it’s been a decade.

Locally Lady Bronco basketball star Tiera DeLaHoussaye is trying to shine in the WNBA with the Detroit Shock after signing a contract with them and looks to be right in the mix when the season rolls around.
