Tigers were off Tuesday, they’ve lost four of their last five on the spring training tip. Today they visit the Mets at 1:10. In some somber news the Tigers have lost one of their own – Hall of Famer George Kell passed away Tuesday at his home in Arkansas. Kell played for Detroit from ’46 to ’52 and was the longtime television broadcast voice of the Tigers. George Kell was 86.
