Western Michigan junior men's basketball player David Kool is the MAC Male Scholar Athlete of the Week. This is the second time this season Kool has earned this award and the sixth time a male Bronco has been honored. Kool averaged 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game – there’s the “athlete” part of it; on the “scholar” side he carries a 3.38 GPA He studies, he scores!
