
The Western Michigan men's basketball team shot over 50 percent from the floor on its way to a 76-62 victory over Mid-American Conference Player of the Year favorite Jerome Tillman and the Ohio Bobcats Wednesday night at University Arena, snapping a four-game skid against MAC opponents. The Broncos' Player of the Year hopeful, junior David Kool, scored a game-high 24 points.
Brenna Banktson hit four of her career-high five three pointers in the second half, leading Western Michigan to a 74-56 road win at Ohio Wednesday. The victory improved WMU to 6-17 overall, 2-8 in the Mid-American Conference and snapped a four-game losing streak.
