Remember that Western Michigan men’s hoops team that everyone wrote off for dead after a rough start? Someone kidnapped them and replaced them with a team that wears the same jerseys but is off to a 3-0 start in the MAC, and this last game wasn’t even close, the Broncos dominating Northern Illinois 71-52 at University Arena Saturday. Derek Drews had 17, including 4 from beyond the arc. Western heads to Ball State tomorrow to take on the Cardinals at 7.
