The Detroit Lions coaching search is proceeding but it appears to be positioned differently than most analysts originally envisioned. Instead of pursuing a former Head Coach in the NFL the team looks to be searching for the next great Coach.
Reaching out to Minnesota Defensive Coordinator Leslie Frazer, Cowboys Offensive Coordinator Jason Garret and a few of newly named General Manager Martin Mayhew's old teammates on the Washington Redskins.
Playoff bound coaches can't speak with potential employers until next week.
