The Pistons carry on tonight after a last-second loss to Portland Wednesday set them back to 1-1 on their westerly roadtrip. Tonight they head for the mountains of Denver and pay a visit to Allan Iverson’s old team, the Nuggets. Should be cool to see Chauncey “Mr. Big Shot” Billups spar with his old teammates. At 25-12 the Nuggets are off to their best start since the bellbottoms and butterfly collars of 1977. Working in the Pistons’ favor is the injury bug – Denver All-Star Carmelo Anthony out for at least three weeks with a broken right hand. The Pistons and Nuggets tip at 9.
