If you spent Saturday afternoon falling out of your chair when former Lions President and General Manager Matt Millen showed up on NBC's NFL Post-Season pre-game show, you are not alone. Millen broke his silence on the NBC show before NBC's Saturday NFL double-header got started.
Millen hadn't returned calls to Michigan media and refused to speak in public since William Clay Ford Sr. fired him late in the season. Millen told the audience "If you're just going to say, 'Oh, that's the stiff who used to be up in Detroit. They lost all those games. It's got to be on him,' I would say, 'Yeah, I was in Detroit, and you have to blame me. But there's a lot more to it than that,”
Millen by the way...didn't elaborate on what more there was to it.
