It's natural to think the worst when athletes are carted off the playing area in a stretcher. The hit on Willis McGahee in the Raven's playoff loss to Pittsburgh was similar to greeting a brick wall at full speed but after a night in the hospital McGahee was back with team mates on Monday.
A nasty helmet to face mask hit by safety Ryan Clark gave McGahee a concussion and very sore neck.
A CAT scan and MRI were performed and a full recovery is predicted.
