Ericka King of KVCC led KVCC with 17 points with Jeannie Closson adding 15 and 10 rebounds, while Caitlin Krull chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds for the 10-3 Cougars. The loss was KVCC's first in League play as they dropped to 4-1 in conference play.
Grand Rapids' Brittany Bueche led all scorers with 19 points. GRCC moves top 11-4 on the season and 4-2 in conference play.
Next up for the Cougars is a home game with the BRuins of Kellogg CC. That game is at 1:00 pm on Saturday as the 14th ranked Cougars look to bounce back.
