It was close but no cigar for Allen Iverson as his final possession shot just wouldn’t drop leaving the Pistons holding an 84-83 loss to the Trailblazers.
The winning jumper from Travis Outlaw came with only eight seconds left. Detroit now heads for the mountains with a 9 o’clock tip in Denver tomorrow night.
