Wrigley Field Gets Ready For Ice

by Dan Cash

The Red Wings are coming off a huge 6-0 shutout of the San Jose Sharks Thursday night. The win was the Wings 1st over the league leading Sharks this season. While the Wings are on a roll it isn't the roll they are talking about as much as the ice taking shape at Wrigley Field.

The Red Wings head to Chicago on January 1st for their 1st outdoor NHL game and the rink is currently being constructed on the Cubs home Wrigley Field. The ice is expected to be layed today even after a Zamboni fell of a loading truck yesterday. No one was injured in the accident.
