The Detroit Tigers officially announced the signing of shortstop Adam Everett to a 1-year-deal worth 1-million-dollars this morning. Everett comes over to the Tigers after an injury plagued 2008 with the Minnesota Twins. Everett was previously the starting shortstop with the Houston Astros during their World Series run.
Everett will split time with Ramon Santiago at short.
