Yesterday the Detroit Tigers released their Spring Training schedule, today they are reportedly stepping up their efforts to trade for Texas Rangers Catcher Gerald Laird. The 29-year-old Laird batted .276 last season while making only 1.6 Million-Dollars for the Rangers.
The Tigers are expected to step up their off-season game next week when Dave Dombrowski heads to the Winter Meetings in Las Vegas.
