The Associated Press predicts 5 Mid-American Conference teams will make the Bowl field with Northern Illinois playing the wild-card in the "Hawaii Bowl". The Huskies currently sit 6-6 on the season making it unlikely that they will be headed to a the bowl.
However most of the "BCS" conferences are having trouble filling their quota which could conceivably open a slot for more MAC teams.
