Winchester Wins MAC West POTW

by Dan Cash

In Kalamazoo Saturday the Bronco Football team was busy tying a school record for wins in a season. The Broncos 9th win of the season came thanks to a solid ground game brought to you by freshman backup Running Back Aaron Winchester.

Winchester carried the ball rushed for 111 yards on 28 carries in the win. Senior Cornerback EJ Biggers says it’s what they expected from the freshman.

Winchester was named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week today. Much of the Broncos future this season will be decided Wednesday when the Ball State Cardinals take on the Central Michigan Chippewa’s in Mt. Pleasant.

The Broncos need Central Michigan to lose this week as well as next week to Eastern Michigan in order to clinch the MAC West Title next week November 25th against Ball State.
