Michigan State running back Javon Ringer has been named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award, handed out annually to the nation's top running back. Ringer leads the nation with 1,548 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns.
The winner will be announced next month. MSU has a bye this week before closing out the season against Penn State November 22nd.
