(Detroit, MI) -- The Detroit Lions and free agent quarterback Daunte Culpepper have reportedly agreed to a two-year contract. The "Detroit Free Press" reports the pact will be officially signed on Monday.
Culpepper played in seven games last season with Oakland and threw for 1,331 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions. He spent the 2006 campaign with Miami after playing the first seven years of his career in Minnesota.
Overall, the 31-year-old has thrown for 22,422 yards with 142 TDs and 94 picks in 92 career games. He has completed 63.8 percent of his passes and has a lifetime quarterback rating of 89.9.
