Western Michigan University Athletic Director Kathy Beauregard confirmed in an e-mail Wednesday that the Broncos are officially headed to a bowl game. The exact game has not been decided as of yet and according to Beauregard won't be decided until after December 7th when the BCS field is selected.
Beauregard says "We are still are up in the air regarding which one, most important part is we will be in." The assurance by the Mid-American Conference comes one day after the WMU Broncos fell 45-22 to the 12-0 Ball State Cardinals in Muncie, Indiana.
The bowls most likely to host the Broncos are:
Independance Bowl (Shreveport, Louisiana)
Motor City Bowl (Detroit, Michigan)
Texas Bowl (Houston, Texas)
R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl (New Orleans, Louisiana
EagleBank Bowl (Washington, D.C.)
The Broncos will now wait for the rest of the games to play out, including the Ball State showdown with the East Division Champion Buffalo Bulls next Friday.
