Women's Basketball - Case Western 69, Kalamazoo 56
Women's Basketball suffers non-conference loss to Case Western
The women's basketball team lost 69-56 to Case Western Reserve University
on Sunday, Nov. 30. Kalamazoo trailed by just eight at halftime (27-19)
despite shooting just 18.2 percent in the first half.
Kalamazoo shot 30.2 percent for the game while Case Western shot 36.2 percent. Kalamazoo held a 47-44 rebounding edge, but turned the ball over 25 times to Case Western's
17.
Nyemade Cooper led Kalamazoo with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Courtney
Kaplan scored 11 points with five steals. Andrea Bedway scored nine points
with four rebounds. Laura Burnett scored six points with 10 rebounds.
Kalamazoo plays its first road game of the year on Saturday, Dec. 6 at
Trine.
