After the Central Michigan Chippewa’s 38-28 victory over the Broncos last month the Chips control their own destiny in the MAC West. A loss against Northern Illinois as well as a loss next week against Ball State would set up a showdown for the MAC West Championship between WMU and Ball State November 27th as long as the Broncos beat Toledo this Saturday.
Head Coach Bill Cubit joined me Tuesday on The Dan Cash Show. He says the team has a lot to be focused on this week.
Toledo Head Coach Tom Amstutz is being re-assigned within the Athletic Department after 2 lackluster seasons in a row. Cubit says Amstutz has had a major impact at the University of Toledo.
Central Michigan plays Northern Illinois tonight on ESPN 2 at 8PM, while the Broncos look for their 9th win of the season Saturday at 2 from Waldo Stadium.
