1988 MAC Championship WMU Football Team
by Dan Cash
The Western Michigan Broncos celebrated the 1988 MAC Championship team at halftime and Head Coach Bill Cubit told members of the media the former MAC Champions gave his players a great boost in the locker room.
WMU Quarterback Tim Hiller fumbled on the EMU 1-yard line and Brandon West fumbled in the 2nd half to stall 2 Bronco drives but the talent was too much for the Eagles to handle in a 31-10 victory Saturday afternoon.
The now 7-2 Western Michigan Broncos will play Illinois at Ford Field next Saturday.
