Game 1 of the NLDS didn’t go exactly as planned for the National League leading Chicago Cubs Wednesday. The Cubs blew a 2-0 lead to fall 7-2 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Cubs Manager Lou Piniella says they need a solid outing from Carlos Zambrano tonight.
Zambrano gives the Cubs a great shot at victory tonight having gone 14-6 with a no hitter on his resume this season. Cubs Centerfielder Jim Edmonds is getting too low on the loss…he says all that matters is game 2.
The Cubs and Dodgers coverage begins at 9 tonight on 1660 THE FAN.
