While former Bronco Center Joe Reitz has moved on to the NFL, it appears WMU Head Coach Steve Hawkins has simply re-loaded for another run at a MAC Title.
The Media and MAC Coaches gave the Broncos 122 points in the poll…in front of 2nd place Eastern Michigan and 3rd place Central Michigan at 106 and 79 points respectively.
In the MAC East Kent State was picked to challenge the Broncos for the overall MAC Title…they came in with 124 points overall. The Broncos open 2008 with an exhibition game against Kalamazoo College November 6th.
