In North Carolina the Detroit Red Wings took it too the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 Monday evening. Nick Lidstrom, Tomas Holmstrom and Henrik Zetterberg scored for the Red Wings as they improved to 2-1 on the season.
Backup Goaltender Ty Conklin was solid in net as well…saving 27 shots in the win. Up next Vancouver comes to the Joe Thursday for a 7:10 coverage start on 1660 THE FAN.
