In Major League Baseball the Phillies continue to celebrate their World Series Title…but the Detroit Tigers are working on securing a celebration for 2009.
The Tigers announced this afternoon that they have re-hired bullpen coach Jeff Jones. Jones was fired a month ago along with Pitching Coach Chuck Hernandez after a dismal pitching season by the Tigers.
The change of heart came after Tigers Manager met with new pitching Coach Rick Knapp…they both decided that Jones was the best fit for the Tigers bullpen this season.
