Portage welcomed Lindsay Tarpley to the Portage Central gym Thursday night. Tarpley is fresh off an Olympic soccer Gold Medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She says the turnout was amazing.
The rally was only the first honor being given to Tarpley by Portage Public Schools. She will be recognized at halftime of the Portage Central-Portage Northern football game that kicks tonight from McCamely Field.
