Last season Michigan State blew a 10-point 4th Quarter lead en route to the Spartans 6th straight loss to the Michigan Wolverines. Saturday it’s a different story for a 6-2 Michigan State team in search of its first win at Michigan Stadium since 1990.
The Spartans enter the game with the nation’s top runner in Javon Ringer as well as developing stars at Wide Receiver in Mark Dell and BJ Cunningham.
On the other hand 2-5 Michigan is a team in transition. New Head Coach Rich Rodriguez has struggled to integrate his spread offense into what has been a traditional pro-style offense at Michigan. For the Spartans a guaranteed bowl appearance is on the line, while the Wolverines can nearly ruin any chance of a bowl berth for the first time in over 40 years.
Michigan State invades Michigan Saturday with coverage beginning at 2:30 on 1660 THE FAN and on 590 KZO.
