While the Tigers weren’t close to a playoff run this season, they are still making noise in October. The Boston Red Sox claimed Tigers farmhand Virgil Vasquez off waivers today. Vasquez went 12-12 last season splitting time between the Toledo Mud Hens and the Detroit Tigers.
