Johan Franzen is out for 3-4 weeks after suffering a knee sprain in Saturday’s win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Franzen suffered the injury after colliding knee-to-knee with Blackhawks defenseman Brent Sopel.
The Red Wings are currently in Southern California preparing for their showdown with the Los Angeles Kings tonight. Coverage begins at 10:10 on 1660 THE FAN.
