Broncos Stun Buffalo 34-28 In Overtime

by Dan Cash

The Western Michigan Broncos are still undefeated in the MAC and 6-1 overall after a stunning 34-28 overtime win over the Buffalo Bull Saturday. Down 28-14 with just over 5 minutes to play the Broncos looked to be headed for a 5-2 record.

Instead an instant classic comeback pushed the Broncos into overtime where Tight End Brandon Ledbetter caught the game winning pass. The win sets up a huge showdown with the MAC undefeated and pre-season MAC favorite Central Michigan Chippewas next Saturday.

The Chippewas beat Temple 24-14 to increase their undefeated mark to 3-0. Stay tuned to 1660 THE FAN.COM for all the latest on the Broncos huge win.
