Broncos Go For 7-1 Saturday

by Dan Cash

The Western Michigan Broncos haven’t been 7-1 since they began 8-1 during the 2000 season. Broncos Quarterback Tim Hiller is having a career season in 2008. He’s 5th in passing yards, 2nd in completions and 2nd nationally in touchdown passes. He says everyone has to be ready for the atmosphere.

Hiller hasn’t done it on his own. Broncos Wide Receiver Jamarko Simmons was named to Phil Steeele’s Mid-Season All-America team. He says last season’s showdown with Central Michigan…has him revved up and ready to go.

The 6-1 Broncos take on the 4-2 Chippewa’s Saturday. Stay tuned to 1660 THE FAN for updates every time they score. The game kicks at Noon.
