Zambrano Fires First Cubs No-Hitter In 36-Years

In the National League Carlos Zambrano threw his 1st career no-hitter beating the Astros 5-0 Sunday evening. Zambrano struck out 10 in the complete game no-hitter.

The no-hitter…played in Milwaukee because of Hurricane Ike’s impact on Houston was the first thrown by a Cub in 36-years. Zambrano also became the first pitcher who’s name started with the letter z to unleash a no-hitter.
