This afternoon it was a percentage point. Now the Detroit Tigers sit a full game behind the Kansas City Royals for last place in the division after a 10-4 loss Wednesday evening.
Michigan native Mitch Maier went 2-for-5 with a triple and 3 RBI’s in the Royals win. The Tigers loss is their 6th straight including 3 against the Royals.
This afternoon the Tigers begin their final series of the season against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Comerica Park. Coverage begins at 12:45 on 590 KZO.
