Apparently Lions Vice-Chairman Bill Ford Jr. has more authority than he thought. A mere 2 days after announcing at a Detroit Economic summit that he would fire Lions President and General Manager Matt Millen if he had the authority…his father took him up on the offer.
The NFL’s worst record of all-time during an 8-year-stretch ends with Millen finishing an abysmal 31-84 with zero playoff appearances and a winning percentage below .280.
The search for his replace begins now.
