In Milwaukee Ted Lilly nearly fired the Cubs 2nd no-hitter in as many days…ending his no-hit bid on a Mark Loretta single in the bottom of the 7th.
The Cubs still grabbed a 6-1 victory improving their lead over the Brewers to 8 games in the NL Central. Tonight the Cubs and take the trek south to Wrigley to take on those very Brewers.
First pitch is set for 8:05.
