In Detroit the Kansas City Royals are coming to town for what some are calling THE BATTLE FOR LAST PLACE. The Tigers currently lead the Royals by 2 games with only 8 games to play. Tigers Acting Manager Lloyd McClendon says no one has mailed in the season.
McClendon was filling in for Manager Jim Leyland…who returns tonight after a 3-game-suspension handed down by Major League Baseball. Coverage for tonight’s game begins at 6:45 on 590 KZO.
