At 1-4 Ohio Much Better Than Record Indicates

by Dan Cash

Off to their best start since 2000 the Western Michigan Broncos football team is primed for big things headed into the meat of their Mid-American Conference schedule. Wide Receiver Jamarko Simmons says Ohio is much better than their 1-4 record indicates.

Simmons currently leads the Broncos with 35 catches and 294 receiving yards this season. This week it’s homecoming on the campus of Western Michigan. Simmons says his motivation comes from the game.

Ohio is coached by former Nebraska head man Frank Solich. The Bobcats are coming off a MAC East Championship season in 2007. Kickoff is set for 2pm Saturday at Waldo Stadium.
